This role is responsible for managing HR policy designing and planning for flexibility working, for enhance employees’ engagement, HR branding, through several external surveys. The role also is responsible for analyzing HR data to take new solutions for both unmet and met needs, and to implement HR engagement strategies and maintain procedures.
Supports the broader HR service delivery model with a focus on customer service and assures alignment with external specialist groups, Regional HR Services, Business-Based HR, and other stakeholders.
To be successful, this role requires individual to be very well organized, effective, have ideas for continuous improvement with sound project / process management skills, and able to work within a team and across functional organization.
Accountable to independently assess high-level business requirements to develop recommended approaches, and to drive delivery of approved solutions to a variety of systems and process change requests.
Responsible for managing of HR policy designing and planning for work/life balance, for enhance employees’ engagement. Rasponsible for enhancing HR branding, through several external surveys. Responsible for analyzing HR data to take new solutions for both unmet and met needs.
•Act as subject matter expert to review, design, and document processes for identified business processes & activities within GSHR team. In cooperation with the Global and Regional HR Services teams, organize and facilitate ongoing development, evalution/testing, and maintenance of documentation (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions) to ensure complete, accurate, and up-to-date depiction of processes.
•Provide input to support organizational direction and culture change
•Support major project such as acquisitions, divestitures, or restructuring related to Employee Data processes.
•Assure that customers, partners, and stakeholders (e.g., BUHR, Global / regional GSHR, Local GSHR team, employees/managers) are kept up-to-date with appropriate, timely, and relevant communication of trends, issues, and services.
•Develop, deploy and maintain employee engagement programs across the Family of Companies ensuring compliance to all statutory, safety and legal requirements
•Work with the internal Regional & HR Services teams and vendors as appropriate to identify and correct problems and implement fixes.
•Act as a first point of contact for the HR department for enquiries from both internal and external customers that are routed via the Shared Services Center Call System.
•Obtain good reputation through external surveys
•Supports the broader HR services implementation and assures alignment with external specialist groups, Regional HR Operations, Business Based HR, and other stakeholders
•Monitor operational reports and trends, problems, or other information, escalating as appropriate with proposed solutions.
•Develop a comprehensive, enterprise focused HR internal communications plan & deploy throughout the year. Ensure alignment to global/regional communications.
•Participate in the development and delivery of training for internal staff, specialist groups, other HR partners, or third party vendor resources as needed.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
•Proactively stay up-to-date on trends and developments within assigned functional area of expertise, constantly researching and implementing best practices as appropriate. Work to enhance the capability of self and team.

•Recruit and hire staff as appropriate.
|•Previous experience in an HR generalist, HR planning, or HR specialist (policy planning).
•Experience with HR policy planning
•Experience with HR data analytics or managing HR data
•Demonstrates x-functional knowledge of HR processes and their impact on stakeholders
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English, in order to communicate with customers, peers, and vendors.
•A sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure timely resolution and an ability to work effectively under pressure.
•Experience of developing/improving HR processes to maximize efficiency & deliver quality services. Able to process complex information and quickly identify innovative solutions that meet both internal and business partner requirements.
•Comfortable in handling ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
•Experience of successfully managing multiple priorities & projects through successful delivery & implementation
•Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact skillfully and confidently with internal stakeholders and colleagues to develop ideas, identify opportunities, and influence outcomes.
•Must have a competent understanding of employment legislation and the ability to translate this into practical solutions.
•Knowledge of standard business practices and professionalism in a customer service environment are essential.
•Ability to work in a team based environment as a model of customer service, teamwork, and leadership. Readiness to work with team members to ensure coverage for our customers.
