業務内容

Overview:
・Johnson & Johnson Group of Consumer Companies is recruiting for an Associate Director, CBI, Innovation and Strategy. This role will focus on building capabilities for consumer and business intelligence for the DCL business.
・The Associate Director works interdependently across Franchise and DCL to bring innovative and leading-edge methods, spanning both research and analytics, into J&J CBI culture and way of working. He/she will enable more agile insight generation, data science solutions implementation and research execution.
・Most immediately, he/she will a) be managing DCL consumer closeness, social listening, insight deep dives and direct to consumer capability development to solve business problems. b) accelerate planning, execution and reporting aspects of standardized CRM analytic and research methods, working closely with stakeholders, internal partners (TPX, DMX) and vendor partners, c) operationalize internal/DIY research including developing questionnaires/ guides through online tools, preparing data for analysis and facilitating analyses/reporting and share outs of own and others’ insights and d) lead usage and meta-analysis of NPD, marketing activities and portfolio forecasts and in market performance tracking tools.
The Work (WHAT):
Key responsibilities:
・Drives Market and Target Consumer Understanding including Consumer Fundamentals using research and analytical tools
・Works with the Franchise Team on Innovation Development with a focus on innovating to and from the Digital World, leading the team through the constant learning and iterative process
・Contributes to Marketing Communications and Claims Development and leads the validation work
・Monitors Skin Health social media and online communities
・Develops most appropriate applications for CBI to deliver holistically against critical business objectives; Executes qualitative and quantitative research and advanced analytics through vendors or through DIY enablers (online survey and sampling, forecasting tools).
・Project manages, partners internally and externally to deliver in-house research and analyses efficiently, effectively and with professional data and report quality.
・Effectively communicate the analytics approach and how it will meet and address objectives to business partners
・Advocate and educate on the value of data driven decision making focusing on the “how and why” of solving problems
・Lead analytic approaches, integrating work into applications and tools with data engineers, business leads, analysts and developers
・Be the interface between the business and Data Scientist, Data Engineers to translate business objectives to customer database analytics using look-alike models and A/B testing.
・Must have working knowledge of different basic statistical models, and experimental design.

・Bias for action, with ability to deliver outstanding results through task prioritization and time management
・Demonstrated ability to efficiently learn and solve new business domains and problems
・Number sense; healthy skepticism around validity of data and its inherent biases
・Intellectual curiosity to understand and answer questions
・Grows knowledge of key macro trends, consumer, market and competitive landscape
・Uses expertise in using a broader range of research and analytics tools/resources/processes, including customer database analytics, social listening and forecasting
・Must be willing to lead teams into the trenches of research design and method development, data, reports and analytics as well as consumer immersion and engagement to directly speak to key insights and recommendations.
・Interprets and pragmatically translates research objectives into research and analytical learning plan and ensures alignment with key CBI and multi-functional partners
・Influences others in the implementation of action steps and recommendations.
・Uses systems/databases/CBI portals/SharePoint sites and keeps them updated to allow continuous and updated sharing of consumer knowledge across CBI.
・Proactively contributes to the CBI community; Integrates best practice learning and global standards; Stays connected with external sources of ideas through conferences and community engagements

求められる経験

・ Bachelor's degree is required, MS or PhD preferred. Minimum of 8 years of related work experience is required. Educational Training or work experience that includes Market Research, Data & Analytics, Statistics models / Analytics is required.
・Experience in a DTC environment (i.e. bank, e-commerce, Insurance, etc) and CPG are required. Beauty industry experience, preferred
・Technical market research and analytics expertise, knowledgeable in a range of quantitative and qualitative research techniques and syndicated business analyses including analytical tools used for customer databases and e-commerce (i. e A/B Testing, etc.)
・Ability to translate data and insights from various sources into business implications
・Outstanding communication and high degree of ownership of work quality is required
・Team player required. Ability to see his/her value and contributions in the bigger picture
・Ability to create one’s own agenda and deliverables, with minimum guidance is required.
