DESCRIPTION – (Enter the key activities of the role) This position will have primary responsibility for directing the Sales of Leksell Gammaknife with the objective of providing maximum profit and return on invested capital, and establishing short-term and long-range objectives, plans and policies subject to approval of the Sales Director, and representing the company with its major customers. This position is also accountable for providing leadership and management for sales initiatives to assure annual growth is in line with company goals and 3-year plan. RESPONSIBILITIES – (Using e.g. bullet points, identify the detailed aspects and specific responsibilities of the role. • Responsible for the management and growth of LGK sales and associated Life Cycle Services • Directly manages area of given sales territory including installed base customers and future customers as required to meet personal, department, and company Budgets and Goals. • Analyzes regional sales records and trends in relation to objectives and competitive activities and report monthly to Neuroscience Sales and Marketing Director. • Prepares sales forecasts, budgets, quotas and other projections as required. • Stays abreast of problems of accounts thru call and territory reports to assure solutions are achieved. • Ensure yourself is trained and up-to-date on company terms conditions and procedures, including service pricing, policies, procedures and approval processes as defined by company policies, procedures and Quality. • Ensure products, services and commitments offered, sold or made on behalf of the company are in accordance with published company policies, terms, conditions, pricing levels and product specifications. • Obtain appropriate approvals prior to authorizing non-standard products or services to customers or in deviating from any of the company’s standard and/or published terms and conditions of sale, including discount levels. • Aides in the development of and implementation of the annual strategic plan • Strives to meet and/or exceed the objectives and goals of the company. • Ensures that personal productivity and morale are at high levels. • Participates in monthly Sales and Marketing Meetings as scheduled. • Maintains appropriate & professional communications within and between various functional areas within the company. • Acts as spokesman for the company in communicating with major customers, suppliers, competitors, government agencies, professional societies and in negotiating major contracts. • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested by Director of Neuroscience sales and Marketing. • Incorporates Elekta’s Values into all department functions and responsibilities. |
