Purpose: This is a strategic role designed to drive digital and technology enabled business growth. The incumbent should take leadership on developing and executing North Asia – Japan and South Korea (NASIA) Tech strategy as the face of Tech to the NASIA BU with multiple global tech product streamlines supported, providing E2E business tech partnering leadership with establishing NASIA tech framework empowering new Consumer Healthcare business ambition. Ensure NASIA Tech team performance, objectives are achieved in line with the agreed business strategy and business objective. The role is accountable for the provision of tech products adoption, IT delivery, digital transformation and innovation to the business units. The incumbent will also drive separation activities for successful start and stable operations of the new company. These responsibilities include some of the following: • GCCH & Tech vision and strategy - Design & implement the Digital & Tech vision and strategy for Consumer Healthcare NewCo in NASIA in line with both global digital & tech strategy and NASIA business objectives, prioritize into actionable NASIA tech roadmap within timescales and measurable results. - Developing an environment which fosters a high-performance and innovative organization by coaching and leading direct-reports & indirect-reports team members of NASIA Tech team with shared tech strategy, vision and common objectives, empower team with implementing new CH culture, apply agile ways of working to be a high performing NASIA tech team. • Strategic partnering and stakeholder management. - Provide leadership and consultation to Consumer Healthcare stakeholders on Tech investments and value-add activities in alignment and support of business strategic initiatives. - Work closely with the Consumer Healthcare BU commercial, QSC and R&D departments to understand and ensure BU requirements, expectations, and opportunities in NASIA are identifies, prioritized and represented in CH Tech Strategies. - Work with CH Tech leadership Team and manage, plan and bring harmonization across BU, Global Tech systems and platforms to ensure the successful and on-time strategy deployment for all Tech projects within the NASIA BU. - Ensure Tech budget and funding is endorsed by all stakeholders at the right level – BU & Global. • Tech product & platform adoption, value articulation - Lead team to translate vision & strategy into a technology product roadmap in partnership with global tech product teams. Understand the BU business and user needs to bring to the central teams. - Customer centric to drive value of the global products, play the last mile in value articulation and product adoption. - Act as an advisor to the BU stakeholders to recommend process and ways of working optimization to deliver expected business value from product implementation. - Working across tech to ensure ERP, core tech, global products etc. are working for the BU. • Tech Transformation, Innovation & BU market adoption Leading teams through a BU-wide transformation to modern, agile tech infrastructure and applications framework, inspire and drive tech enabled innovation and transformation which will accelerate standalone consumer healthcare business growth in the NASIA BU. • Portfolio Management & Delivery - Ensure NASIA tech team follow global tech portfolio and standard to define problem statement and involve proper Tech and non-Tech stakeholders, external partners to deliver Business Case, control budget and ensure successful project delivery. - Initiate standardized NASIA project management portfolio including resource, budget, finance, delivery outcome, document retention etc. applied entire NASIA tech team delivery. • Service management & Delivery - Ensure Customer Satisfaction is regularly measured, analyzed, necessary corrective actions and improvement actions are taken. - Lead serious escalation processes in BU/Global in scope and lead the CH Tech response to crisis situations like unavailability of a critical system, data loss etc. - Lead to initiate and define third party service level agreement, measurement on quality and apply centralized service management platform ServiceNow to improve service management efficiency and standardization. • Business understanding, Impact and Process analysis. - Lead to develop a clear understanding of the core entities and accountabilities with the process for business impact and strategic change, provide input into the process change and business benefit of its implementation. - Deconstruct complex processes into manageable simplified representations that facilitate strategic discussion and decision making. • Quality, Risk & Compliance - Ensure all applications supporting the business are compliant with new Consumer Healthcare security, risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements e.g. GxP, Sarbanes-Oxley, CSL and that IT continuity plans are in place for all business critical applications. - As enterprise info security risk owner, work closely with TSR/CSL to define and implement info security governance process, SOPs and procedures, and drive NASIA BU all departments on risk management and action tracking. - Support TSR/CSL to ensure MLPS certified for all critical and PI related applications/platforms etc. Manage NewCo and brand websites ICP/PSB certifications, work closely with TSR, legal, Compliance, GA teams etc. to respond PSB inspection or internal/external audit etc. • Talent & Capability - Identify critical technical expertise and skillset needed by NASIA BU market needs and business objective needs, and lead the communication with global tech product, data, and CTO teams etc. to allocated corresponding talents in NASIA to enable growth. - Empower NASIA tech team with direct-reports & indirect-reports on capability development including industry & business understanding, NASIA market insights, learning and developing critical technology to drive and contribute in NASIA multi-channel transformation |
