業務内容

As the Retail Operations Manager, you play an instrumental role specifically in the areas of
operations and development of store support tools in both primary and secondly channel. All tasks
work towards driving the ultimate client experience, sales and profitability for the business providing
a full circle approach to Retail Excellence. You will be responsible, under the directions from Retail
Director in driving and monitoring the key retail strategies and initiatives across the globe, working
in close partnership with key stakeholders (Retail Managers, Buyers, Marketing, HR, Finance, Store
Planning, IT and Client Experience).

■RETAIL OPERATIONS
• Identify training and development needs within the Retail Operations team through job
analysis, appraisal feedback, personal development plans and regular consultation with
business managers & HR
• Partner with stores and manage the operational performance in ensuring the delivery of
operational excellence and sales targets
• Define communications strategy and execute programs to deliver communications
efficiency throughout the organization with a view to streamline communications
structures between corporate and store teams. Regular engagement with business
partners and store teams to amend and evolve the communication strategy
• Develop, implement and maintain effective operational policies, practices and strategies for
the stores
• In partnership with Store Projects, conduct regular reviews of the stores, propose upgrade
changes when necessary, to be consistent with the image of Ferragamo
• Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and external parties to maximize
business opportunities and long-term cooperation
• Oversee procurement operational efficiency by tracking and reporting key functional
metrics to reduce expenses, and to improve effectiveness by negotiating with external
vendors to secure advantageous terms for the business whilst protecting the brand ethos
and outlook.
• Streamline retail operations processes and procedures and identify synergies within the
markets to ensure operations are efficient and effective
• Facilitate sharing of best practices between stores by identifying new ideas
• Work closely with key stakeholders (Retail Managers, Store Managers, Buying, Planning,
Marketing, HR, Finance, Client Experience, IT) to provide input on merchandise, marketing,
retail operations, performance management, business planning and strategic direction so as
to achieve operational targets set through to increase in store gross margins, productivity
and reduction in store level variances, expenses and delivery of consistent store efficiency
• Prepare and present regular reports, budgets, spending and forecasts
• Ensure the implementation and close monitoring of internal control procedures
• Ensure the back of house at the local stores to be efficient and by regulating several rules
and guidelines to support business to achieve financial goal

■ELEVATING IN-STORE CLIENT EXPERIENCE
• Drive and uphold the highest level of in-store experience taking into consideration of markets
maturity, cultural specificities and local competition
• Give guidance and share best practices from the markets or regions
• Partner closely with Store Managers to make decisions in the best interest of providing an
elevated client experience
• Create a Retail Operations Community
