◆KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES
HTA/HEVA leadership and policy shaping
Serves as the key contact for Country Leadership in the area of HEVA/HEOR/HTA
In collaboration with other internal stakeholders, obtains HEVA/HEOR /HTA insights to inform the HEOR policy agenda for Japan that maximizes opportunities for gaining and maintaining optimal market access
Utilizes HEVA/HEOR/HTA insights for Japan to coach and assist the local Market Access team and Public Affairs to appropriately influence policy decisions regarding HEOR/HTA issues.
HEVA/HEOR product strategies, tactics and deliverables

Accountable for all country HEOR strategies, tactics, projects, and timely deliverables adapted to the country requirements to maximize market access and commercial uptake (i.e. local Value Dossier development/submission, local real world evidence (RWE), economic evidence, HEOR models, all in accordance through adaption of the global HEOR studies, models and other resources)
Responsible for collaborating with Global HEVA to adapt global evidence and generate local evidence needed to support access
Analyzes the clinical and economic benefit of products from the Country HEOR/HTA perspective to assess the added value vs standard of care then works to fill identified evidence gaps through partnership with Global HEVA and Medical Affairs
Ensures that all final deliverables are of high scientific quality and done in full compliance with Sanofi and regulatory requirements and that patients, health care professionals, payers and HTA perspectives are included in HEOR plans in particular via interaction with local HEOR/HTA bodies (i.e. early scientific advices, pre-submission consultations, etc)
Design HEOR Communication Plans to ensure that the drug’s value proposition will be recognized among the Japan external (scientific/payer-influencing/ HTA expert) stakeholder community and hence market access and market uptake will be maximized
On request from Global HEVA, supports the assessment of pipeline product or Business Development opportunities from a Japan HEOR/HTA perspective to ensure that these opportunities have an acceptable probability of overcoming the HEOR evidence hurdle
Manages Country HEOR budget and resource allocation for HEVA/HEOR activities including, but not limited to: managing a network of consultants to assist in the local HEOR adaptations and ensuring that deliverables are ready in a high quality and timely manner.
HEVA/HEOR capabilities building

Leads, coaches and develops a high performing Country HEOR team to optimize their contribution to the Japan business
In coordination with Japan Country MAx Head, Global HEVA and the Market Access Academy, build local capabilities for HEOR evidence generation, economic modeling, and HTA submissions
