|The purpose of this role is to act as the North Asia (Japan and Korea) supply network project lead to drive excellence in end to end supply network strategy, new product launch and route to market. You will be responsible for ensuring the requirements of the market relating to product supply are understood and optimizing supply network. You will be the key interface between international markets supply chain team and North Asia QSC.
The impact of the role is critical to the success of the market, you will be required to operate as a key leader and become a valued part of the North Asia QSC leadership team, partnering with the market commercial team and international markets supply chain team on NPI delivery and market supply chain performance.
This role includes the management of external partners and developing collaborative relationships.
As the lead for the supply network projects you will need to display effective leadership to collaborate and drive performance through supply chain transformation whilst also ensuring alignment to central standards, governance for good supply chain practice with alignment to central processes, usage of common tools & systems.
You will play a key role in embedding GSK CH Values & Behaviours and driving improvements in team engagement and culture.
Part of NA QSC leadership team
Aware of key market risks and opportunities - responsible for designing and delivering efficient supply chain responses to commercial challenges.
Drives projects in market in partnership with commercial - e.g. Distribution network, Route to Market, Strategic Sourcing.
Responsible for in-market Supply Network design
Accountable for shared KPIs (OTIF, Inventory, Cost to Serve)
Collaborates with Quality lead, Contract Manufacturing Operation lead and SC Finance lead within NA BU as well as Technical lead and Network strategy lead within International Markets QSC.
Bilingual Japanese / English speaker (Korean to be plus)
